I'm trying to work Red's Black Cherry Porter in to the future brewing schedule, followed by Amber Steam.

I hope everyone had a meaningful and joyous election day. I spent mine voting early, then kayaking the Little Manistee River where I observed large turtles, bald eagles and lots of fish. 70 degree temeratures, 40 degree beer... it was a good day no matter who won!

Good news!
Dortmunder is fermenting! After about four weeks of lagering, it will be ready to serve. We're shooting for the second week of November. No promises!! ;)

We're working hard to produce Smoky Porter, ASAP! 

In the near future we will be brewing Red's Black Cherry Porter.

On the agenda this week... shopping for a big flat screen TV for bove the bar upstairs!

Thoughts from Tom: I had a great trip on the Lake Michigan Carferry "Just Imagine..." shoreline cruise. Or should I say the "Everyone Staggers on the Badger" Cruise - because everyone staggers on the Badger, no matter how many beers you've had! :)
