This beer was created to celebrate the 150th birthday of our hometown and the lumberjacks that helped build it. The logo is a collaboration between two of our employees, Michael Gomez and Jen Tooman and it’s a tribute to “Red” Andrew Johnson. Red and his brother Axel, who worked in the lumberyards, commissioned our building in 1890 to house a hotel and saloon. The Johnson Brothers Saloon was located where Sunset Bay Antiques is now (north side of our building). The original bar from the saloon is located in our private banquet room, aptly named Red’s Room.
